Frozen King Crab Legs

I normally purchase the frozen Alaskan King Crab Legs to make my yearly Crab Bisque for New Years Eve.
A few of the supermarkets are now selling only the Legs that are a product of Russia.
Has anyone tried them and what is the quality of them compared to the Alaskan Legs?
Thanks

aren't they all fished from the bering sea - boat next to boat? and then the processing "mother ship" is nearby? I don't know.

are they the same price as AK legs?

    i am curious.

Russia introduced them to the Barents Sea. That's where Russian King Crabs come from.

oh, i had no idea - i just think of the part of russia next to AK - but of course, that country has several coastlines - in which case, this chow thread from last year might make a diff to the OP
