I like Korzo Haus, but it's not the conventional burger:

thats a very buttery, very delicious burger. shame the rest of the place is pretty lousy. my meal there included blasting of black eyed peas songs and people taking photos of their food.

            Best burger is VERY subjective.

For its style, I really like Black Iron Burger Bar. I also love their fried green tomatoes and they do a good job with onion rings.

Is the burger at Brindle Room available for dinner? Website doesn't show it on dinner menu.

I totally agree with Mitchleeny, "best burger is VERY subjective", The Smith's Burger Deluxe was good.
Jeepney has perhaps most interesting burger. Other burgers i've had in East Village were just Ok at places like Stage, Veselka, In general I go West for my burgers.

The burger at Brindle, in my experience, has always been available at dinner, even though it is not on the menu. If they haven't run out, they'll serve it.

Best burger in the EV -in my experience- was the Pat La Frieda's short rib burgers I cooked up at home on my humble little stove... I've had a very hard time finding a "best burger" at restaurants since then...
