Interesting tidbits Arlington Dec. 2012

GilbyEast Dec 13, 2012 03:44 PM

Two things from the Arlington Selectmen's Agenda:

Common Victualler License and Beer & Wine License Request: Szechuan Dumpling (formerly Jade Garden) 1360 Mass. Ave.
>> Looks like we may be getting dumplings!

Food Vendor License: Something Sweet Without Wheat
169 Massachusetts Avenue
>> Perhaps something to watch for the gluten-free fans

Was it any good? I get my greasy Chinese takeout from Sun's.

Didn't notice it closing, but haven't walked by in the past few days. Maybe they are jumping on the dumpling bandwagon.

Wow, no more Jade Garden. Dumplings sound promising, though!

According to the zagat blog, Menotomy Grill and Tavern is still proceeding in East Arlington in the old Hollywood Video space. I haven't driven by there recently, though, so I don't know how accurate that info is. Anyone know?

Menotomy Grill is still a go. They announced on Facebook that they will begin the hiring process late next month.

Awesome, thanks. I'm really looking forward to it. Sounds like maybe a Feb. or Mar. opening.

Now, if they would just do Saturday brunch...
