Hungry for Hungarian

Does anyone know a good place in Toronto where a hungry carnivore can eat a passable "Hungarian fatal" -- the traditional and very meat-heavy wooden platter dish? Thanks!

Country Style on Bloor, it's a pale shadow of what it once was but they do still have a wooden platter with 2 kinds of schnitzel and sausage on their menu. You asked for passable, it's passable, maybe just slightly better than passable but not much.

Cafe Polonez is great. Love their schnitzels and beet salad. It is a Polish joint, but I remember their placky was specified Hungarian. Experts please chime in.

Gourmet Schnitzel House was recommended to me once. I haven't been, but from their website, it looks like some authentic good eats.

I would avoid both Hungary Thai and Country Style Hungarian though. Quality had declined substantially over the years.
