New Years in Scottsdale / Phoenix with kids

We will be staying in Scottsdale with kids ages 11-14 for 3 nights starting new years eve, and are looking for fun restaurants for new years eve and the next two nights. Any advice on fun new years eve restaurants, as well as tips on other new years or holiday related events in the area would be appreciated. We are able to drive anywhere in the Phoenix area, so are not limiting ourselves to Scottsdale. Any type of cuisine or price point is fair game.

Davanti is reportedly doing a NYE "Roman Feast" with both a prix fixe and ALC menu. Food is great, chef is great, room is casual - seems a great fit.
