R and S Keystone still rocks

  • 6

I know Sellersville is a hike for most but oh my gosh. Went there last night and got an excellent small cup of split pea soup, dinner rolls, salad bar, beef pot pie, and real mashed potatoes all cheerfully served up in a festive environment. Santa was by the salad bar giving out little gifts and photo ops and Mrs. Claus was walking around handing out candy canes and encouraging the little ones to come see her hubby.
My only regret: no room for the bread pudding.

  1. Thanks for reminding me. I am always scratching my head where to eat before a show at the theatre there if I don't get a reservation at Washington House. Haven't been there in years, now will have to get there.

Awesome! They do close at eight. And sometimes they run out of some very good stuff. Missed out on the ground cherry pie this year.

Ground cherry pie? Be still my heart! Ok may have to go over there even if I am not going to a show at the Sellersville.

Hate to tell you but they only have the ground cherry pie in the fall. /sigh
