One day, while waiting at a dhaba in India for my food to arrive, I decided to eat a few of the chillis that were sitting at the table. Everything seemed fine for a few minutes, until I started sweating profusely (to the point where sweat was flowing from my face and my shirt was soaked), my vision blurred and my hearing distorted as though in a tunnel, my whole perception of time slowed, and I thought that I was going to pass out or die.

I recovered within about 10 minutes and decided that chillis are neat.

I want to try this peanut butter.

        Love that story.
That said, what they're doing with food these days is of very little interest. I'm not a fan of bacon brittle, candied bacon or any of that other stuff they're trying.
This would apply to this idea as well. I like peanut butter just fine the way it is and have no desire to try stupidly hot peanut butter.

It may, however, be a great ingredient for peanut sauce.

I can return the question with, Why not?

Could be good for a spicy peanut sauce, or a dare to chilli head friends

The dare part, well - okay. As for the spicy peanut sauce, people have been adding chili oil to peanut butter to taste for a long time, they haven't been clamoring for a combo.
