Fat Dragon Closing?

Hey folks. I just learned that Fat Dragon will be closing later this month. Anyone else hear this?

I had a couple excellent meals there and will miss the place. It was in a pretty dodgy area....

Whoa. I hadn't heard this. I'm not really too surprised though. This Yelp and blogger fueled market creates conditions for this kind of a meteoric life-span. Perhaps the sketchy locale didn't help - it is just far enough outside the Gastown hype zone.

If this is true, then I wish the Fuel boys good luck. I offer them three words: "burger", "burger", and "burger". You know where I'm going with this ;-)

I only went once for a snack and thought it was just okay and overpriced for the area and what we had. Plus it did have a challenging addy with nothing else nearby. Sorry to see this happen to a good gang o' fellas and hope they land on their feet.
