Need nice place for a drink near City Hall

Hi everyone,

We are getting married at City Hall Friday am. We just found out some friends are flying in from Chicago for the wedding, but need to catch a flight to JFK at 3pm, so not much time. Is there a nice place to get some champagne & a little something quickly after the ceremony that is close by?

Thanks for any suggestions.

    We went here after our wedding (we also got free champagne!). Food is very good too.

      Nearby is City Hall restaurant, a little further is Odeon, and a little further ( maybe 8 blocks) is Tribeca Grill or Locanda Verde. Another idea is the The Smyth Hotel on Chambers and W. Broadway. They have a nice bar and restaurant is called Plein Sud ( probably the best choice). Another idea is to go over the Brooklyn Bridge to River Cafe (10 minutes away) for a spectacular view, great food and champagne. Congratulations.
