Avatar arbitrarily cropped

My poor avatar -- The came's head got cut off in the middle. How wierd is that? And what can y'all do to fix it?

    The design crew is not only mediocre in appearance, but sloppy in execution.

    In my profile, the avatar is given a square shape. But in the new design, avatars are shown in a circular frame.

    Duh....
