Where to eat in the Golden Isles.

My wife and I will be spending a few days on Jekyll Island after Christmas and I am hoping to get some great recommendations from Chow Hound. I have seen some good things written about Indigo Coastal Shanty in Brunswick and Palmers Village Cafe on Saint Simon's Island.
In our case, good food always trumps curb appeal. I love BBQ, but BBQ does not like me. Pretty much the same with a lot of other fried foods also. I’m OK with fried seafood, but I prefer blackened. After so many Prilosecs I've learned my lesson. Thank you very much for your help!

Southern Soul on St Simons is great, primarily barbecue but fridays they do prime rib & most other days they do a non barbecue special, it is worth calling to check the specials if you do not want cue. Tup Tim is great Thai north of Brunswick. Indigo is a must visit lunch only mon-thurs dinner fri & sat.
