Traditional dinner Christmas Day, peninsula or EB?

I'm looking for something American/Italian or non-hoity European that's open Christmas Day and hopefully not ridiculously expensive (let's say max of $30 and an average of $23 for a main course). I've checked Iron Gate (an old fave), Izzy's, and a few others and none are open that day.

I'm fairly new to Hayward, so if there's someplace good on the EB side in maybe a 15 mile radius I'm open to suggestions. I have not checked Ruth's Chris's schedule yet, that's pushing the price point but I'll take the family there if it's open and nothing more suitable is available. Also intend to call Paradiso for their schedule.

Thank you Robert, wolfe, glencora! I had not known about OpenTable -- what a handy website. I made reservations for Miss Pearl's. I've had drinks there once and it seemed like a pleasant place.

We always used to have Christmas dinner at the Fish Hopper in Monterey (good food, and open on every imagineable holiday) but this year my mom wants to try someplace different.

Here's what Open Table has for the East Bay but looks like slim pickings.

Slim pickings indeed! Of all of those, I'd do FIVE...or maybe Miss Pearl's.

FIVE would probably be out of the price range if they're doing prix-fixe.

We had Thanksgiving at 5 and would not recommend it. The service was disorganized with no one apparently assigned our table, close to the kitchen, and the Diestel Turkey' as delivered wasn't better than the cheapie Safeways I've been making for years. The sides were delivered in tiny bowls and with the erratic service asking for refills was out of the question. The price was $55 plus tax and added on18% tip(definitely unearned).
Other than that how did you like the theater Mrs. Lincoln?

It's a tough question. If Izzy's isn't too far, how about Miss Pearl's in Oakland?
