Here is the ultimate review of the Hobbit faire:

I haven't tried it yet, but can't think of a better place for a Hobbit themed menu. I'll have to ask my parents to take me for elevensies when they pick me up at the airport in a few weeks.

My friends and I went recently and tried much of the menu.
The "Radagast's Red Velvet Pancake Puppies", with a cream-cheese dip, were very tasty; so were the "Lonely Mountain Treasure" french toast bits -- which are just as tasty as french toast -- they're lemon-poppyseed and are pretty good.
We weren't super impressed by the Hobbit Hole Breakfast, which was just fried eggs in cheese-sprinkled burger buns, more or less... and the pumpkin pancakes were really rubbery and not so great.
The standout item in all of this is the Shire Sausage, which is almost shockingly good compared to what you usually find at Denny's. It's a full-size sagey peppery sausage that's much better than you'd expect.
After the Hobbit hooplah is over, I'd be surprised if the Red Velvet Pancake Pups and the Shire Sausage didn't stay on the menu under new names.
