Breakfast close the The New York Palace

KateMW Dec 9, 2012 06:11 PM

Well, I had our breakfasts planned out for Christmas week and then I went and changed hotels. Any suggestions for good, quick breakfasts close to the NY Palace hotel? We are more savory vs. sweet breakfast people. I am usually content with a bagel and a coke each day, but my daughter and husband tend to like eggs every once in awhile. Obviously breakfast isn't the meal I want to spend the most money or time on, so inexpensive and quick would be nice.

Well, that thread wasn't at all helpful, so maybe I'll get better answers in that one. I'm looking for more diner fare I think.

Rockefeller Center is a short walk away and has Bouchon Bakery, Jacques Torres, Wichcraft, Blue Bottle, and La Maison du Chocolat by the way.

The NY Palace isn't too far from the Waldorf, so this might help.

          Thanks Kathryn

Bouchon is on my list for sure, I'll check out the rest as well.

And there's also a Magnolia Bakery at Rockefeller Center now (skip the cupcakes for the icebox pie or banana pudding).
