Inexpensive but good pizza in Mar Vista

Bjartmarr Dec 9, 2012 03:59 PM

Can anybody recommend a mid-range pizza joint that delivers to Mar Vista?

We need food for our business meeting tonight. Larocco's is too pricey, and Venetian is kinda not-tasty.

Something in the neighborhood of 12 bucks per pie would be fine.

With your criteria, the Coop is your best bet. It used to be one of the better pizzas in the area but new places like La Rocco's and the Good Pizza surpassed it by a lot. Below them in quality Is Victor Jr's, then Mamas, then Piece O Pie.

Also I was thinking of Grey Block (the old Abbots on Sepulveda) but I don't think they are in your ballpark on price.

I called the coop. We're only 3 miles away, which is apparently outside their delivery range. So, no.

We ended up getting Costco pizza. :( Maybe we can pick-up from Coop next time.

        Thanks for the tip, guys.

We find ourselves in the same position a lot. We want pizza and for a safe, consistant, not very much money pick it is always Costco. The honest truth is we find very few places can beat it in taste and price.
