good (empty) vol-au-vent in west end / downtown?

do you know where i can get good vol-au-vents in west end / downtown
w/o pre-ordering

now that we've been chatting about Monks (another thread here on Vcvr BC board) - what was that great bakery on 41st in k-dale - it was
next to a fancy dress shop in the late 70's. on the south side of 41st --- oh yes, Moores Bakery. All that great stuff for daily or entertaining. Things like vol-au-vents in the miniature size.
