Sufganiyot

Where can I get the best sufganiyot in Brooklyn?

I really like the (dairy) caramel donuts from Schriebers on Ave M. As with all doughnuts they are best fresh and hot.

I took your suggestion and went to Schriebers, already having gone to Ostrovitsky's (above) and loved them and wanted to try something else. Something in my head didn't click when you said they were dairy until I saw cream coming out of the sides. I am not a fan of custard, so I went for the regular powder and jelly and loved them! Thanks!

I thought Weiss at 13th Avenue and 50th had better doughnuts than the others, but maybe it is more the extra variety. They even advertise a spelt donut! Now Royal/Podrigals on New Utrecht around 42nd street is open more or less around the clock the week of chanuka and a really fresh doughnut is always best.
