Where to buy city ham

Hi everyone,

My wife and I are looking to try and make a home glazed city ham for the holidays this year. Does anyone know where we may be able to find them for sale in the city? We're particularly looking for the ham (not with water added versions) with bone in.

Would be great if it was on the UWS, but will travel anywhere in the city.

    Flying Pigs Farm, at the Union Square Greenmarket Friday and Saturday ( and at Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket in Brooklyn on Sat) sells some of the best ham in the city. They do special,orders as well. Their website will give you contact and ordering information.

      My memory is fuzzy but I think the Baczynsky's East Village Meat Market (2nd ave 9th street) sells hams with the bone in, but it's been a while since I went there specifically for ham (I usually go there for the Kovbasa, veal hot dogs and other Ukrainian delights) so you may want to call and find out. Kurowycky used to sell hams but they closed a few years ago (and it is sorely missed!).
