Momofuku Stollen back!
Okay, I'm a little late with this, but I just got my first Momofuku stollen of the season and it's typically delicious. There were many in stock at the Union Square gift market and it was a generous sized loaf for $6. Ingredients (as best I could read the tiny type) are: pistachios, almonds, candied ginger, currants, raisins, candied lemon, cranberries, whiskey. What about flour? Must be in there somewhere. It's always a little different, this year's was delicious and I like the whiskey flavor.

always a great thing to get, and to add to decadence, makes amazing french toast. I remember one year they had the peppermint cornflake marshmallow cookies, anyone happen to see these?

Yeah, went to buy one the other day but unfortunately they're only being sold packed in a jar with a bunch of other cookies. So if you just want one or a couple, no luck.
Already had my stollen for the year. Bought it, went to a coffee shop and ate the whole thing with a couple friends in about five minutes.

I have not tried momofuku's stollen, but I just had an the best stollen of my life from Cafe Sabarsky, on the UES. So fresh and not overly almond-pasty. I highly recommend.
