Fricasseè French Bistro, Montclair

Mark Papera, who opened the original Epernay on Park Street in Montclair, has purchased the restaurant (which closed in October) again. He will open it as Fricasseè French Bistro in February 2013.

    Yay, thanks for the update. I will say we went to La Reve in Bloomfield for my steak frites fix and we found it to be quite enjoyable. They comped us an experimental quinoa side dish and a creme caramel dessert. We definitely got the VIP treatment and will return to La Reve.

    But I am happy to hear that Epernay will become reincarnated. The recession has wiped out many of our favorites.
