take-out/catering suggestions for dinner party in Northern Virginia

msoppa Dec 8, 2012 04:53 AM

I'm hosting a holiday dinner party for 12. I don't want to get stressed out over cooking. Anyone have any suggestions for good restaurants near the Herndon/Reston/McLean/Leesburg area where I can take out and/or cater? Suggestions on menu would be helpful, too! This is my first holiday party and I want it to be a good one!

Check out the catering dept. Wegman's, it will give you the widest passable options from - top shell cheese an charcuterie - to their prepared food options.

Depends on your budget and type of cuisine you are looking for. You can start by looking at www.vmeals.com to get ideas. You can also call the restaurants or vmeals directly if vmeals doesn't have exactly what you are looking for. Also, most Asian restaurants will do catering as well and they tend to be very affordable.

Thanks for the suggestions! Never heard of vmeals, but I will look into it. I don't mind paying extra $$ to good a get a good gourmet meal.

            Thanks again.
