Help! Parlor Market alternative in Jackson?

I've been looking forward to my upcoming trip to Jackson for a number of reasons, one of which was the chance to eat dinner at Parlor Market again. But I'm only there one night -- and I just realized that PM won't be open -- it's a Monday.

So after I finished sobbing quietly into my hands, I started looking for an alternative that will make me as happy as Parlor Market, but that's open on Mondays. I would love any recommendations for either a farm-to-table restaurant like Parlor Market, or else something on the other end of the spectrum -- a hole-in-the-wall BBQ or Southern cooking place. Doesn't need to be fancy, just good.

Thanks in advance!

Walkers would be my next choice. Also check out Table 100. I've not been but I've heard good things. Sorry you'll miss PM!

Thats a pretty broad request but I always like to recommend Julep or Char in the Highland Village Shopping Center. Julep is a mid-priced "twisted" southern cusine (ex, honey-rosemary glazed fried chicken, a top 10 by Southern Living) and Char is on the higher end for Jackson. A local blog EatJackson.com has a pretty good finger on the Jackson dining scene.
