Need ideas for group Sat. night dinner

Although we orginally wanted some jewish food or at least latka's in celebration of hannukah, my friends are looking for a fun, moderately priced restaurant for 10 people .....It could be any kind of food except Indian..... Let me know your thoughts....

    no idea if they can accommodate your large party on such short notice, but it's worth a phone call.

      fwiw,
      i've eaten at akasha three times.
      the first time it was horrid.
      the second time it was terrific.
      the third time it was horrid.

      kitchen is not consistent.

      What part of town? What budget per person? My idea of moderate is $50/person which may not be what you mean. This is a very vague question.
