I'm interested in it, but am wondering how cooking from it, with its graphic novel type set-up, would be. Would love to hear any first hand information/thoughts. Thanks!
I have not, but your post/recent nyt review of restaurant is leading me to think it may make a selfish xmas present for my husband.
That NYT review of the restaurant is what got me interested. And the amazon reviews are mostly good. I'm just slightly concerned about the way it is written being tough to cook from.
I haven't bought the book (yet), but I did download the Kindle sample. From the sample, it looks as though the recipes themselves are presented in a standard format, and the graphic novel bit is just for the accompanying narrative.
That is very helpful info. Did you try the recipe?
Received this terrific cookbook for Christmas. The recipes and techniques are clearly presented. Made the steamed carrot buns, and they were excellent!
