Opus for solo dining

bitkit Dec 4, 2012 07:47 PM

Is the bar area friendly for the solo diner?

Actually would just like a few drinks and an appetizer.

The wine list doesn't seem to offer by-the-glass options. Can someone confirm that's the case?

Thanks,

Cat

    Thanks, all!

I feel encouraged, now. Have wanted to go for some time, but I don't always want to find a willing companion.

Very glad to hear about wines by the glass. Looking forward to an ndulgent evening with my own charming company :)

The bar at Opus is a great spot to solo dine. You order off the regular menu and there is a huge selection of wine by the glass. They have an enormous wine list. As a bonus, the barvis a great place to people watch and everyone is friendly and outgoing. Sometimes, I prefer the bar to the tables!

I haven't been to Opus for a long time but Le Paradis, which isn't too far from Opus, is very friendly to singles at the bar and they have a few wines by the glass. Probably less expensive also.
