Japanese Noodle Knife

Does anyone know of someplace in or around Boston that sells Japanese noodle Knives? I'm looking for a decent quality version. Most of my Chinatown time is spent eating, so not sure if there is a knife shop in that area that has escaped my notice.

I didn't know what a Japanese noodle knife was until I saw BW's pic.

I have something that looks a lot like that which I bought in Chinatown at a kitchen supply place on Lincoln St. The shop is/was near Lincoln and Beach St..a few doors South of Beach. A little google mapping and I'm guessing 160 ish Lincoln. Bar fka Weggie's on the corner.

    Worth checking out.

I was in the area and stopped in for a few things. 1/2 dozen or so cleavers in the $30 range and a few Japanese knives up to $100. They didn't know what a noodle knife was.

The shop is worth knowing about and stopping in but doesn't offer the high end like the Korin mentioned upthread.

googling to find out WTF a noodle knife was I came across this photoblog. This is definitely relevant to Boston... somehow.

I've never seen any stores in the area that stock these. If you don't have any luck around here you could always try Korin in NYC. They should have them and would definitely ship. Good luck!
