Food Gifts (not homemade)

I'd like to give some of my foodie family members some edible gifts this holiday season, but I am skeptical of the quality. Particularly for things like salumi and other meat gifts. Like this for instance.

I am wondering what food gifts fellow foodies have given and received. What was good? What was bad? What sites/companies do you trust?

Last year, I got my mom a collection of cheese from DiBruno and that worked out well - but I'd like to branch out. Thanks!

Vosges chocolate. They also have some baking mixes and nut assortments. But the chocolate, oh the chocolate.

Also this was part of TheKItchn's holiday giveaway but thought it looked like a nice gift, albeit a little on the pricey side http://www.zingermans.com/Product.aspx?ProductID=G-OCC-2

They also featured this cured meats subscription and I would be very pleased with that http://www.boccalone.com/categories/S... and the price seemed to be very good.
