Fountain Restaurant

I was wondering if anyone has been to the Fountain recently. I am taking my wife there for her birthday and wondered what is good. We just had a fabulous meal with to-die-for service at Lacroix a few weeks back so the bar is being set very high. Hopefully they won't disappoint (although I might add that I had to make the reservation at the Fountain on Open Table since nobody picked up the phone there after umpteen rings (hiccup). Hopefully not a sign of things to come...

I was there in November and it was excellent. We ordered al a carte and I thought the price was a little more reasonable than Lacroix. Service was very good. I haven't been to Lacroix in over a year, but I would say they are comparable.

Was Lacroix prix-fixe only menu when you had dinner there? Someone mentioned that on this board a while back.

Thanks! We actually had lunch at Lacroix and there was no prix-fixe option offered at that time. And we're doing lunch at the Fountain (we live in DE so it's a pain coming up for dinner with traffic)...

Haven't been recently, but do you know you have a chef's tasting menu as an option of that is how you like to dine.
