Shipping Beer to the East Coast

Hi everyone-

Shipping from Portland to the East Coast. 6 bottles (not a six pack, but the larger size individual bottles - having a brain fart right now - hopefully you know what I mean).

Best way to do this? Is there a bottle shipping company I can use that will pack it and send it for me? (or at least pack it)? Or best to do on my own? If so can you recommend materials, etc and where to find them?

Thank you!

It is against the law to ship beer via the US Postal Service, and it is against the rules of the major shipping companies (UPS,Fed Ex) without a license, so you'll be shipping "Barbecue Sauce", "Vinegar" or "Collectable Glassware", etc.

And you'll want to pack them well. Here's a website with several different methods used by beer traders.

(And the bigger beer bottles - containing 22 oz. - are usually referred to as "bombers".)
