Christmas Lunch in NYC

Hi my wife and I are in NYC for christmas, can anyone reccomend a good resturant, preferrably around hudson st, to go to gor christmas lunch? we are looking for the traditional christmas meal if possible. Thankyou in advance

    How much are you willing to spend? Many restaurants are closed on this day; the ones that are open usually do a set meal, for a fixed price.

      Im not too worried about the price. just somewhere specal and good food for our first christmas in nyc

        Check out the Wallse menu I posted above, it looks pretty traditional, and is not too far from Hudson St. They are serving goose!

        If you can venture further from the Meatpacking District/western part of the Village, you will have more options.

            We live near Hudson Street in the Village, but had a great Christmas lunch at ABC Kitchen last year—it's close enough to walk if the weather is nice. Hopefully they'll be open again this year.
