iso of good, relatively affordable spots to eat...anywhere in the city...

nevrenuf Nov 29, 2012 05:53 PM

looking for places like, black hoof, woodlot, pizzario libretto, the atlantic, the saint and grand electric are the places i've been to...but i'm curious what else is out there similar to the places i've listed...i know it's varied but i think they're similar in the fact that they have great food, with a casual vibe and attainable pricing....

Honestly I've never had a bad meal - and I go for dinner at least a couple times a month.

These are my favourite kinds of restos as well. Adding to the recs provided by others...Playa Cabana, Enoteca Sociale, L'Ouvrier, Torito.

Liked both Lil Baci (Yonge Street) and Union recently.

Went when it first opened and we quite enjoyed it. Had the steak and ale pie and bangers & mash. Good solid homemade food. Really friendly staff and hearty portions. Great option in the hood but not necessarily a destination place.

There are many many restaurants that could be listed, but it's just too broad. You would have better luck searching through other threads.
