John Dory Recipes? (St Pierre or Peter's Fish)

Thinking of John Dory for this weeks fish cooking lesson / adventure. They come whole (but cleaned) from where I buy.

Can I cook them whole or would I need to filet them?

What would be a standard way of cooking them?
