Chez Denise Mustard Cream Sauce recipe?

A few years ago my wife and I had a wonderful Salmon with a mustard cream sauce. I would love to make it at home and perhaps have it with a braised pork chop. Does anyone have a good recipe or where to go to find it?

    1. While I can not compare it to Chez Denise, having not eaten there, I have made Ina Garten's mustard sauce a number of times, all to excellent reviews. This recipe s quite good but the sauce stands up to many other meats.

      1. Purchase a crock of Pommery Mustard...the one with the red cap. Heat up some cream and add the mustard to the cream....begin whisking while it reduces in volume until it coats the back of the spoon. Season to taste. This sauce work great for all meats and poultry.....

        I would pan sear and roast the pork chop ....and have the sauce accompany it .

            The sauce I suggested above is a pretty standard way commercial kitchen make mustard sauce, so you could actually use any type of mustard you have on hand......although, the Pommery Mustard is considered one of the finest mustard available and the seeds make a nice contrast and texture to the sauce.

            As for seasoning...depending on you could also add something like horseradish as well.
