Bay's Barbecue in San Leandro

When I went hunting for current info on Pelton Smoke Barbecue and Korean Soon Tofu House in San Leandro, I discovered that it had closed earlier this year.

Taking over the venue that used to house Perry's BBQ, Bay's Barbecue opened a few months ago. If anyone's tried it, please give a holler.

looking at the short hours, it's hard to take the q here seriously. as a review on y... mentions, the food is nuke and serve.

On the other hand, another Yelper reported she went there because she could smell the food from across the street, and she gave it five stars. Seems like it would be worth checking out.

I still miss Perry's. I don't know anywhere in the East Bay to get good spareribs currently.
