Doubt about value of new Chilean denominations

  1. Thank you for the info on the new denominations. I keep waiting to find more than one Chilean wine, that I would actually buy, or buy again.

I try, as many as possible, at tastings, and from offerings from some favorite retailers, but none does anything for me. The one exception has been the Santa Rita Casa Real.

From similar threads ("Great Chilean Wines," etc.), I have tried some highly-recommended wines, but they all fall short of something that I would buy, or buy again. That covers a broad spectrum, from US $50, to US $250 wines.

To date, only the above-mentioned one, regardless of what "window dressing" is applied to the label.

Maybe it's just MY tastes, but I find much better from elsewhere - to date.
