Seeking Restaurant Recommendations for an Intimate Wedding Reception in Paris

Hi All,

We're getting married in Paris in May 2014 (on a Thursday) and we're taking only our immediate families (which includes a party of 12 adults total). We're looking for suggestions for restaurants that meet the following criteria:

1. private room (or at least a space where we don't disrupt other diners--don't plan on being too loud or playing music, etc)
2. haute cuisine/modern French cuisine (much preferred over old French cuisine)
3. not a huge 12+ course tasting menu, would prefer 3-5 courses
(price doesn't really matter)

Thinking about Le Chateaubriand, Lasserre, La Tour d'Argent. Would love other ideas!

Have been in the past to Cafe Constant, Le Comptoir, L'Avant Comptoir, Spring and loved them all (to get an idea of where we like to eat).

Thanks so much in advance for your thoughts and recommendations!!

    Congratulations.
Well, as I've said before, there are two routes: a private room - Spring's downstairs is dandy and he'll provide charcuterie, oysters, etc as you mingle and sip before dinner, but Grande Cascade would be grander and the upstais at the, Bastide Odeon and downstairs at Les Papilles more relaxed, or buying out a place that has few covers - .Jeu de Quilles, Cerisaie or Galopin for example.
