Looking for recommendations in Chiang Mai, Phuket and Phi Phi Island

Hi there! Going to Thailand for the first time next week and will be traveling around for 2 weeks. These boards have been invaluable and I have compiled a fantastic list for Bangkok by reading other posts. I have found several threads on Chiang Mai and have a few places (Wera's Laab Ped, Tong, Huen Muan Jai & a few places at the night market) on my list, but would love any other suggestions!

I'm really running into trouble finding info on Phuket (we will be staying in Patong Beach for 2 nights on our way to Phi Phi) and Phi Phi Island. We are attending a wedding at the Outrigger Resort on Phi Phi, so there are a couple meals that the couple have planned for all their guests, but I would be so sad if I only ate hotel food while I was there! We will be relying on local transit, but definitely willing to go out of our way for a good meal.

My favorite thing about traveling is eating and I'd really like to experience the culture and local cuisine as much as possible, so I'm really interested in local favorites - street food, etc. I'm pregnant so I didn't get any of the vaccines, which makes me a bit nervous about getting sick, but I really don't want to miss out on all the amazing food so I'm trying to do as much research and be as well-informed as possible. Spontaneity is going to have to be sacrificed, as I just feel more comfortable eating at places recommended by those in the know. Any advice on what to avoid would also be greatly appreciated - I know all the usual precautions, but any firsthand experiences would be so helpful! Thanks!
