Carmines in Allenhurst

Went to Carmine's in Allenhurst last night for dinner. As we pulled up we saw that the Carmine's name had been replaced by Lorenzo's. It seems the chef for Carmines bought it and renamed it for himself. There was a limited menu but the food we had was very good.....much better than before.

I believe that Carmine was the chef.

Lorenzo told us that Carmine had been sick and not involved in the business for about a year and that his brother had been running the restaurant.

Thanks for the update.....but I'm curious as to why you did not put *Lorenzo's* in the title to reflect the name change?...Something like:

Carmine's is now Lorenzo's....
