Any suggestions for Christmas dinner within 20-minutes of Maynard, MA?

There are the Wayside Inn in Sudbury and the Colonial Inn in Concord. Both are nicely decorated for the holidays. The Wayside Inn is very popular with older folks; my mother loves it and I always see multigenerational family groups there. The food at the Wayside Inn is a bit better than at the Colonial Inn, but both have "olde New England" style food.

Wayside Inn is closed on Christmas:(

We booked at the Colonial Inn. That was where we ate last Christmas and it was pretty good. Wanted to try something different, but oh well.

I agree with Kat! Take your Nana to The Wayside Inn in Sudbury. While I am more of an "urban foodie", my mother lives in Marlborough & loves going to the Inn for dinner around Christmas time & I'm happy to oblige. I always get the Salmon...soup, salad, entree, dessert. Very traditional New England dining....Prime Rib, NY Sirloin, Baked Scallops, etc.

What about the GIbbett Hill Farm in Groton? I'm not sure if they're open on Christmas, but if so, that would be a tasty and pretty choice.
