Rocklin/Anything great there not to miss?

Going to Rocklin in October for business. Enjoy all kinds of food. Anything not to miss or fine dining there? Will be in town two nights.

Golden Dragon for the best szechuan Chinese food around. Hawks in Granite Bay, Toast in Granite Bay for breakfast and brunch.

This post is kind of old. i think gold miner has changed it's name, isn't it granite rock grill?- it was still good tho. and horseshoe bar and grill recently reopened with new owners etc and i've heard it's very good

Yeah almost five years old. I cannot update however. I have not been up that way in a long time. Now that Roseville and Rocklina re pretty merged the restaurant scene is much larger.

I'd suggest any other bar in Rocklin but Lorries Shack (exsept on sun/mon) They hire the lamest people.

Best thing there is the Gold Miner. taylor road. Only open for breakfast and lunch however.

In Loomis is the Horeshoe Bar and Grill. Have not been but gets great reviews.

Lorries Little Shack (a DIVE BAR) has some great tacos. taylor Road.

there is a place nearby, Cascades, that is pretty good too in Roseville.

I second the Gold Miner and Lorries Little Shack. After three meals at the Horseshoe Bar and Grill I say pass, including a complimentary meal given after both I and my date complained of what seemed like reheated entrees. Cascades I've been to once and look forward to my next visit.

Lorries shack is known for having Karreeokee every night, but they hire the worst possable people to run it. If they had a robot, it would be cooler and have more friends then the current staff. BTW, the chick that runs it on sunday/monday is ok :)
