Meditteranean on Upper East Side

My husband and I are new to the area and looking for good Meditteranean

  1. In Midtown East, Pera is pretty good.

    1. Al Bustan for excellent authentic Syrian/Lebanese food.

      1. Beyoglu for good Turkish.

        1. Persepolis for the best Iranian food around (not saying much in NYC, unfortunately)
          Moustache for delicious appetizers and fresh baked bread

          1. Beyoglu and Fig & Olive for a sit down meal
            Mama Gyro for take away

            1. Uva...2Ave-77/78st.
              Italian w/outdoor garden in the back.
              But, will probably be noisy at prime time.

              1. I always enjoy Ithaka on 86th Street between 2nd/1st.-Greek-to me its interchangeable w Medditeranean.
