What kind of cookie to serve with Irish Coffee?

I'd prefer not a cake or sweet bread, but a cookie. Anything traditional?

Perhaps something light, like a thin hazelnut cookie? I tried making some years ago - a very buttery recipe, melted in your mouth but somehow not cloying and actually very light!

I have no idea if there's a traditional pairing, but shortbread comes to mind. Maybe oatmeal cookies, to continue the Irish theme.

Shortbread immediately came to my mind too.
