Wedding Dinner/Luncheon
My fiance and I are getting married next summer on the west coast, but we have some elderly east coast relatives for whom we'd like to have a small dinner or luncheon in Boston to spare them the cost and physical demands of travel. We'd probably have about 20 guests, and are looking for a place we can do a nice lunch or dinner in a private room somewhere in Boston. Any suggestions for something that you think would be appropriate?

To me, very Boston in a good sense, is Mama Maria's. The food is very good, the location is beautiful in the North End at Paul Revere Square, and they have a private room. If parking is a concern, I would consider Dante's in the Hotel Sonesta, which has a parking lot, and also a lovely water view of the Charles as well as good food.
