Amy's ice cream

dimsumgirl Nov 21, 2012 01:02 PM

If you told me I'd be craving ice cream in November, I would have said you're nuts. However with the beautiful fall weather I have been craving a sweet cold treat.

Thanks to Jaymes for the recommendation. Didn't make it out for ice cream in San Antonio but found an Amy's in Houston. Just north of 59 at Shepard.

Just the right chocolate and coffee flavors that the taste buds were demanding. Thank you Jaymes.

I think that's the place that, when they first arrived in Houston from Austin at least, had a reputation of giving their customers a lot of grief. It was part of the shtick. I didn't get that but the ice cream is good.

      Hi Lambs:
I didn't get any grief from the server. In fact, she was the one who suggested that she could mix the chocolate and the coffee flavor if I couldn't decide. It was good if a bit expensive.
