Solo chow for Thanksgiving?
I had a 5pm reservation at Bourbon Steak. It was going to be great. And then my dad cancelled on me.
So. . .where can I get good eats on Thursday, and not feel weird by myself?
Pertinent info:
I'm in Annapolis, and will drive 1 hr in any direction, with the exception of Baltimore. I'm a big meat eater, but the only things I really can't stand are ramen and Pho. (Terrible foodie, I know.) Please, Chowhound, save me from Thanksgiving at the Double T Diner!

There are sufficient numbers of odd people at the Annapolis Double T at any given time that I feel as though I blend in. The food, however, is not great. Not bad, but not good or interesting enough to merit going out for on a holiday. My best holiday meals give me a vague sense of accomplishment.
Dim sum is at the top of my list, followed closely by that taco place in Hyattsville if it's open.

China Garden in Rosslyn will offer a Dim-sum menu on Thanksgiving. I've always found it to be a friendly format for solo dining. Get what you want and when you've had enough leave. I always prefer a table but you could make it work from a bar stool if you are aggressive in tracking the carts and pulling them over.
