The new Pizza Hut Overstuffed Pizza

Firegoat Nov 20, 2012 07:29 AM

They are doing a half price special on these Wednesday night for 1,000 lucky people who sign up in time. I decided to just try one last night because I was hoping perhaps they brought back something like the triple decker pizza they used to have.

No such luck. It wasn't bad. It was just.... not good. Too much crust, not enough sauce. I wanted to like it. Thankfully the manager at the carry out offered me a cup of marinara while I paid. I didn't think I wanted it, but was glad I took it. The sauce inside isn't near enough to handle the two crusts.

I don't think I'll order it again, altho I liked the idea.

Can they stuff it with a better pizza?

I will say that the people who worked there were more than nice and helpful, I gave them good reviews online, but had to call a dry pizza a dry pizza.

I like crust. The crust is my favorite part of apple pie. This crust is not like a calzone, the crust is crispier.

I talked to the manager and he said it takes lots of prep time to make. I doubt it will last.

He gave me a 2 L Pepsi because I had to wait.
