Jamie Oliver's America - Pork Rib Recipe
I bought this book as a bargain book recently and have never cooked out of any of Jamie Oliver's cookbooks. For some reason, he just doesn't usually particularly appeal to me. However, there is a recipe in this book for "5 Star Pork Ribs". It's done completely in the oven as opposed to grill and sounds pretty good. Has anyone made this? And if so, how did they turn out? I searched the boards, but couldn't find any mention of it anywhere. As usual, thanks in advance for any input :)

Well thank you all. I haven't done ribs in ages and was thinking a most-of-the-day low and slow oven prep would make for a lazy day of cooking, which will appeal to me next week very much I think. PJ - I think I'll give them a go with some best that I can find ribs. And Kate - next time ill roast then finish in the grill (sounds tastier, just not quite as lazy :p ).
And Harters - yeah, I just can't put my finger on why there is just minimal appeal for me. Maybe it's the abundance of self-portraits in his books. Maybe it's just that his voice somehow doesn't speak to me. His recipes just don't move me to run to the market.
However, I shall give these a shot and see where that leads.
Again - thanks and hope you all have a lovely Thanksgiving. -
