Chocolate candy help
I need to make a couple of molded chocolates to decorate a cake for Christmas. I am wondering if I can just take a bar of my favorite dark eating chocolate and gently melt it over a double boiler and fill the molds. I really don't want to use the candy wafers because those things are just gross. Anyway, I just wanted to make sure that the chocolate doesn't end up cloudy and streaky from being melted. I am also secretly hoping I don't have to temper it. It's a 3D squirrel mold for a buche in case anyone is wondering, LOL.
