Takoyaki Griddle in Calgary?

Has anyone seen any takoyaki griddles in Calgary? I'm looking for one as a gift and I'm kicking myself for not buying the one I saw in Vancouver last month!

  1. You may want to look for abelskiver cast iron pans at a camping store such as Campers Village or Wholesale Sports .

If money is not an issue, you can find the same pan at Williams Sonoma.

Or, I have seen electric cake pop makers at London Drugs.

Whether it is takoyaki, abelskiver, paniyaram or banh kot, the idea is a thick batter which may be savory or sweet, and may be stuffed or not, cooked into a rounded shape.

There is a thread on this board about the abelskiver pans.
