Authentic Christmas Eve Italian meal, NYC or outer boroughs

My family has decide to head out to dinner on Christmas Eve. Traditionally we do the Feast of the Seven Fishes and are hoping to find a resturaunt either in NYC or the outter boroughs that either of our Italian grandmothers would have prepared. We are okay with paying top dollar, we just want good authentic food. Any/all suggestions and feedback will be much appreciated.
